We’ll also give you some alternatives along the way.

Are you a big series fan, but don’t know which series will be on the air in 2023?

Designated Survivor: This happens at the end

Attention: Spoilers for the series “Designated Survivor” follow!

Tom Kirkman starts campaigning for his re-election and quickly realizes that they are playing hardball. Whether it’s child marriage, transgender, teacher strikes, fake news, immigration and more, just one mistake and the media pounces on him. Moss, the former Secretary of State, faces Kirkman as his presidential rival. Kirkman’s one-time chief of staff, Aaron Shore, is running for vice president and suddenly his Mexican heritage plays a big role. Meanwhile, Hannah Wells is recruited by the CIA to stop a bioterrorist. She follows the tracks and gets closer and closer to him. But one day she is too close and pays with her life. Tom is determined to hunt down those responsible. The bioterrorist’s trail leads all the way to Moss’ campaign team. Kirkman knowingly withholds information that could have exonerated his competitor for the sake of his political career. But what won’t you do for victory. Tom Kirkman is once again elected President of the United States of America.

Is “Designated Survivor” finished?

The first two seasons of the series were produced by the US channel ABC, before Netflix took over the canceled series. However, after ten more episodes and thus after season 3, Netflix has also canceled the series. The third season is supposed to be the finale of “Designated Survivor”, although not all storylines have been finally told. For example, the re-election of President Tom Kirkman, which he may have won due to the withholding of exculpatory evidence that could have cleared his competitor of all charges. In addition, Kirkman’s campaign boss was the victim of a wiretapping scandal that is still partially open. The ending doesn’t seem completely rounded, and fans are rightly demanding a fourth season, which may or may not happen for the time being. With that, we can tell you that “Designated Survivor” is not yet 100% complete in terms of content, but for the creators it is.
