It appears like Hulu has announced a release date for the third season of their popular comedy, Only Murders in the Building, so it’s almost time to return for a fresh case. According to Variety, Steve Martin and Martin Short announced the show’s return date on August 8 during a comedy show that took place this past weekend in Orlando, Florida. Selena Gomez will appear in fresh episodes of the comedy series that swept the comedy world by storm when it debuted back in 2021, just a year after the second season ended. Many well-known characters will appear as the crime-solving team’s possible adversaries or allies in the upcoming season.
When Only Murders in the Building first aired, it detailed the tale of how a dead body is discovered inside the building where they all resided, which brought together three people who were listeners of the true-crime podcast with the same name. Although Charles (Martin) and Oliver (Short) didn’t know what was really happening, it was made clear to the audience early on that Mabel (Gomez), who was involved in the case, was. The comedy’s creators and the network itself were unaware of how well the program would connect with viewers, which led to the speedy renewal of the production.
